Overview

SleepWise is built to help you sleep better. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled. We collect only what is necessary to deliver the app's features and we never sell your personal information to third parties.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely in Supabase (hosted on AWS). We never store your Google password — authentication is handled entirely by Google.

AI features

SleepWise uses OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini) to generate personalised sleep routines, weekly insights, and sleep coaching responses. When you request an AI feature, your sleep profile and relevant session data are sent to OpenAI's API to generate the response.

No data is used to train OpenAI's models under the API terms
Only the minimum context needed is sent per request
AI-generated content is stored in your account so you can revisit it

Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (AWS infrastructure)
OpenAI — AI routine generation, weekly insights, sleep coach
RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase verification
Google Sign-In — authentication only; we do not access your Google account beyond your name and email
Google Play — app distribution and in-app purchases

Data security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
Database access is protected by row-level security — you can only read your own data
We do not store payment card details; all billing is handled by Google Play
Anonymous guest mode is available — no personal information required to use core features

Your rights and data deletion

You can request deletion of all your data at any time.

In-app: Settings → Delete account — permanently deletes all your sleep logs, routines, sessions, and profile data
By email: Send a request to the address below and we will process it within 7 days
Subscription receipts are retained by Google Play as required by their terms; we cannot delete those on your behalf
You may also request a copy of your data or ask us to correct inaccurate information

Children's privacy

SleepWise is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify you in-app.
