This policy covers our UK driving theory test apps —
Driving Theory Test UK (com.drivingtheorytest.uk),
Motorcycle Theory Test UK (com.ofbuilder.motorcycletheory),
LGV Theory Test UK (com.ofbuilder.lgvtheory) and
PCV Theory Test UK (com.ofbuilder.pcvtheory).
They work the same way: no account, no sign-in, and your study data never
leaves your phone. The only information that leaves your device is a purchase
record if you buy the one-time Premium unlock, and the text of an AI Tutor question
if you choose to use that feature.
These apps are independently developed and published by Passly. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) or the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not run a user database. Almost everything stays on your device.

We do not collect your name, email address, postal address, phone number, precise location, advertising ID, camera, microphone, contacts, or any analytics or usage-tracking data.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or any third party for marketing.

Data on your device is kept until you uninstall the app or clear its data from your device settings. There is no cloud copy to delete.
Your purchase record is retained by Google Play and RevenueCat for as long as needed to support purchase restoration and refunds, in line with their policies.
AI Tutor messages are sent directly to our AI provider at the moment you send them and are subject to their retention policy. We do not store the content of AI conversations on our side.
These apps are intended for learner drivers preparing for a UK theory test — generally aged 16 and over. They are not directed at children, and because we do not collect names, emails or accounts, we do not knowingly hold personal data about anyone. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the AI Tutor, contact us and we will help.
Because your study data lives only on your device, you are already in full control of it — you can view it in the app and erase it by clearing app data or uninstalling. For the limited data held by our processors (purchase records, AI messages) you have the right to:

Every network request the app makes — downloading question content, verifying a purchase, or sending an AI Tutor message — uses encrypted HTTPS/TLS. We hold no user database, so there is no personal account to breach. Payment card details are never seen or stored by us; all payments are handled by Google Play.
Study reminders and streak alerts, where available, are scheduled entirely on your device. No data is sent to us to generate them. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings or inside the app.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the apps after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
