Summary

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or any advertising identifier. The apps do not track you across other apps or websites.

Data stored on your device

To make the apps work, the following is stored on your device (the question bank is downloaded to it once, see below): the question bank, your answers, your spaced-repetition review schedule, mock exam history, study statistics, and settings such as the light/dark theme.

This data is not uploaded anywhere. You can delete it at any time with More → Reset progress, or by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in Android settings. Android's own device backup may include app data if you have enabled backup on your device; that is controlled by your Google account settings, not by us.

Purchases

Each app offers an optional one-time "Pro" upgrade. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; we never see your card or payment details.

To confirm and restore purchases, the apps use RevenueCat, Inc., a purchase-management service. When the app checks or completes a purchase, RevenueCat receives information such as a randomly generated anonymous app user ID, the product purchased, purchase and transaction details from Google Play, and basic technical information like the app version, device type, operating system version, country or store region, and the IP address used for the request. This data is used only to provide and restore your purchase.

See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.

Network connections and permissions

The apps connect to the internet for two things: to download the question bank, and to check or complete a Pro purchase. They also open links you choose to tap, such as another app's Google Play page or your email app.

Question download. On first launch, and again when a new version of the questions is released, the app downloads its question file (a public file of exam questions, the same for every user) from our file hosting on Supabase. Like any web request, this sends your device's IP address and basic technical details (such as the app's user-agent) to the host, which may keep them in standard server logs. The request contains no account, no user ID and none of your study data. After the download, all study features work without a connection.

After you pass a mock exam for the first time, the app may ask Google Play to show its rating window, and "Rate this app" on the More tab opens the app's Google Play page. Google Play displays both, and any rating or review you choose to leave goes to Google under Google's privacy policy. We do not receive it through the app, and leaving a rating is always optional.

The apps request network access and Google Play Billing permissions only; they do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location or files.

Reporting a question and contacting us

If you use "Contact support", your own email app opens a message addressed to us. It is pre-filled with the app name and a short footer of app details: the app version, whether Pro is unlocked, the platform (Android) and today's date. You can read and edit it before sending.

If you use "Report a question", your own email app opens a message addressed to us, pre-filled with the question reference. Nothing is sent unless you send the email. We receive only what you choose to include, such as your email address and message, and use it only to reply and to fix the question. We delete such emails when they are no longer needed for that purpose.

Children

The apps are intended for adults preparing for professional IT certifications and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Study data stays in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read. Purchase traffic to Google Play and RevenueCat is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

International transfers

RevenueCat, Google and Supabase may process the information described above on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under their own privacy policies and safeguards. See Supabase's privacy policy.

Your rights

Because we do not hold your study data, you control it directly on your device. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. For purchase-related data, contact us at the address below and we will help with your request through RevenueCat. We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the apps handle data, we will update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
