Citizenship & Naturalisation Test Prep apps · Effective 19 September 2026
These apps are built to work offline, with no account and no sign-in. Your study progress, scores, notes and settings never leave your phone. We do not run ads, we do not use analytics or tracking, and we never sell or share your data. The only time the app talks to the internet is to download study content (once, when you first open it, and again when that content is updated), to verify a one-time Pro purchase (every app except the free Canadian app), and, if you use the optional AI Tutor, to answer your question. Like any internet request, these reveal your IP address to the service that receives them (see section 3).
This policy is published by the independent developer trading as OfBuilder, which is the controller of the limited data described below. Contact: ofbuilder.apps@gmail.com. It applies to the following Android apps (the “apps”), which share one codebase and the same privacy practices:

The Canadian app is completely free. It has no in-app purchases and does not contact RevenueCat, so the purchase sections below do not apply to it.
All of the following is stored only on your device, in the app’s private storage. It is never uploaded to us, and we cannot see it:
You can erase all of it at any time with Settings → Reset progress, or by uninstalling the app.
There are only three cases, and none of them involve an account, your name or your contact details:

We do not keep server-side copies of AI Tutor conversations. Messages you send are processed by Anthropic under its own privacy policy and are not used by us for any other purpose.
If you are in the UK or EEA, we process the limited data above on these bases:
Google, RevenueCat, Supabase and Anthropic may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, they rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, described in their own privacy policies linked in section 7. We do not otherwise transfer data.
The apps do not collect or access any of the following:
We do not sell, rent, or share your data, and there is no third-party advertising or marketing profiling in these apps.

Study reminders are offered during first-time setup and can be turned off at any time in the app or in your device settings. The app asks Android for permission before it sends any notification, and you can decline. No data is sent anywhere to produce a reminder.

On your device: kept until you use Settings → Reset progress, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. We hold no copy.
Purchases: RevenueCat and Google Play retain purchase records for as long as needed to restore your Pro unlock and to meet their legal and tax obligations. To request deletion of the purchase record linked to your anonymous app ID, email us and we will action it within 30 days (records Google must keep by law are outside our control).
Server logs: the content host and RevenueCat may keep technical request logs (including IP addresses) for a short period under their own retention rules. We do not receive or keep a copy.
AI Tutor: we keep no conversation history on our servers.
These apps are study tools for adults preparing for a citizenship or naturalisation test. They are not directed at children, and because the apps collect no personal information, none is collected from children.
Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or the California CCPA/CPRA) you may have the rights below. Because we hold almost no personal data (only an anonymous purchase record via RevenueCat), most requests are limited to that record.
Where we rely on your consent (for example study reminders or sending a message to the AI Tutor) you can withdraw it at any time by turning the feature off. We do not sell or share personal information (as those terms are used in the CCPA/CPRA) and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
To exercise any right, email ofbuilder.apps@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Every network request the app makes uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Data stored on your device sits in the app’s private, OS-sandboxed storage. Payment card details are never seen or stored by us. All payments are handled by Google Play.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
